School refurbishment – Nottingham
S&G Site Installation Services Ltd successfully delivered a comprehensive refurbishment project at Rushcliffe Spencer Academy in Nottingham, as a result of extensive flood damage in 2021.
Key elements of the project:
- Creation of a Disabled Access Path: Designed and constructed a dedicated path to ensure full accessibility for individuals with disabilities
- Fire Safety Improvements: Installation of fire compartmentation systems to enhance the building's safety.
- Cladding and Redecoration: Modernisation of the building's exterior and interior with updated cladding and fresh redecoration throughout.
- New Flooring: Installation of a timber subfloor with durable safety flooring and carpet tiles for practicality and aesthetics.
- Classroom Reconfiguration: Redesigned layouts to optimise learning spaces, supported by new electrical installations tailored to the updated designs.
